Applying Rate Changes to Multiple Days of the Week

When editing a rate in Birrdi, you'll see checkboxes for other days of the week before saving (click the save button to see the checkboxes dialog show). These checkboxes are shortcuts that allow you to apply the same rate changes across multiple days at once.

For example, if you're editing a rate on Monday and select Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday before clicking Save, Birrdi will attempt to apply your changes to matching rates on those selected days.

How Does Birrdi Match Rates Across Days?

Birrdi identifies matching rates using three criteria:

  • Rate name

  • Time of day

  • Date range

All three must match for the changes to be applied.

If a rate on another day has a different name, time of day, or date range, Birrdi will not update that rate, even if you've selected that day before saving.

Why Should I Still Check Each Day Individually?

Because rates may have different time windows or date ranges across the week, selecting multiple days does not guarantee every rate will be updated.

For example, if your Monday rate runs from 9 AM–5 PM but your Friday rate runs from 10 AM–8 PM, Birrdi will not consider these matching rates, so Friday's rate will remain unchanged.

Best Practice

Use the day-of-week checkboxes to save time when updating matching rates across multiple days.

However, we strongly recommend navigating through each day of the week (Monday–Sunday) using the left sidebar after saving to verify that your changes were applied correctly.

This is especially important when rates have different schedules or date ranges throughout the week.

Remember: The checkboxes are shortcuts for updating matching rates, not a way to overwrite every rate on the selected days.
