A customer's phone number cannot be edited after their customer profile has been created.
Birrdi uses the customer's phone number to identify their customer account, so changing the phone number on an existing Customer Profile is not supported.
What Should I Do If the Phone Number Is Wrong?
If a customer has a new phone number or their original phone number was entered incorrectly, simply create their next reservation using the correct phone number.
Birrdi will create a new customer profile associated with the correct phone number, and the correct profile should be used for reservations going forward.
You do not need to update or modify the old customer profile.
Example
If a customer previously made reservations using:
555-123-4567
but their correct phone number is:
555-987-6543
create their next reservation using 555-987-6543.
Going forward, use the new customer profile associated with 555-987-6543.
Good to Know
Customer phone numbers cannot be edited from the Customer Profile.
You can still edit the customer's name and email address.
Creating a reservation with the correct phone number will create/index the appropriate customer profile.
Use the profile with the correct phone number for future reservations.
The old customer profile does not need to be deleted or changed.
