How Auto Apply Credits Works
When Auto Apply Credits is enabled, Birrdi will automatically apply the minimum credit increment configured for the membership plan as soon as a credit-eligible rate is selected.
For example:
If your membership uses 0.5-credit increments, Birrdi will automatically apply 0.5 credits.
If your membership uses 1.0-credit increments, Birrdi will automatically apply 1 credit.
This happens regardless of the reservation length.
EXAMPLE
A customer has a membership with 1.0-credit increments and books a 3-hour reservation.
When they select the rate, Birrdi will automatically apply 1 credit.
Before completing checkout, they can increase the number of credits to:
2 credits
3 credits
if they want to use additional credits toward the reservation.
WHY DOESN'T BIRRDI APPLY ALL REQUIRED CREDITS?
This is intentional.
Birrdi always applies the minimum credit increment by default. It does not automatically apply enough credits to cover the full reservation, even if additional credits are available.
Customers and staff can increase the number of credits applied before completing checkout.
CAN THIS BE CHANGED?
Not at this time.
Auto Apply Credits will always apply the minimum credit increment configured for the membership plan. Additional credits must be applied manually before checkout if the customer wishes to use more.
