Birrdi gives you full control over how credits are applied during checkout.
Once a customer selects an eligible Rate (this is required), Birrdi checks whether that Rate is configured to accept the customer's Membership, Pack, or League and its associated Credit Plan.
If the Rate is eligible and Auto Apply Credits is enabled (the default), Birrdi will automatically select the appropriate credits for the reservation. Customers can still review, adjust, reduce, or remove the applied credits before completing checkout.
If Auto Apply Credits is disabled, no credits are selected automatically. Instead, customers choose whether—and how many—credits they want to redeem.
This article explains how both options work.
Credit Eligibility Starts with the Rate
The customer must first select the Rate they wish to book.
Once the Rate has been selected, Birrdi checks:
Is the Rate linked to the customer's Membership, Pack, or League?
Is Allow Credits enabled for this Rate?
Does the associated Credit Plan allow credits for this reservation?
Are all time, date, and usage restrictions satisfied?
Only after these checks pass are credits made available for the reservation.
Automatic Credit Application (Default)
Every Membership, Pack, and League includes an Auto Apply Credits setting.
When this setting is Yes (the default), Birrdi automatically selects the appropriate credits after the customer chooses an eligible Rate.
Customers can still:
Review the applied credits
Reduce the number of credits
Remove all applied credits
Choose to pay without using credits
Auto Apply simply provides a convenient default—the customer always has the final choice before completing checkout.
Manual Credit Selection
If Auto Apply Credits is set to No, Birrdi will not automatically select any credits.
Instead, once the customer has selected an eligible Rate, they'll see a credit selector during checkout where they can choose if—and how many—credits they want to redeem.
Your Rate Configuration Controls Credit Usage
Your Rates determine when credits can be used.
You control:
Which Memberships, Packs, or Leagues are accepted
Whether Allow Credits is enabled
Days of the week
Specific dates
Times of day
Public Rates
Member Rates
Lessons
If the selected Rate isn't eligible for the customer's Credit Plan, no credits will be available—even if the customer has credits remaining.
Summary
Credit application follows this process:
The customer selects a Rate.
Birrdi determines whether that Rate accepts the customer's Membership, Pack, or League.
Birrdi validates the associated Credit Plan and all Rate restrictions.
If Auto Apply Credits is enabled, eligible credits are automatically selected.
The customer can still review, change, or remove those credits before completing checkout.
If Auto Apply Credits is disabled, the customer manually selects whether and how many credits to redeem.
This ensures credits are only redeemed on eligible reservations while still giving customers complete control over how they use their available credits.
