Display Pricing by the Hour

Customers tend to think in hourly pricing, not booking intervals. Birrdi lets you display an hourly price to customers on a rate—a cleaner, more familiar way to show pricing—without changing how your rates, booking intervals, or Square items actually work.

This is a per-rate setting, so you'll need to enable it for each rate you want displayed by the hour.

HOW TO DISPLAY PRICING BY THE HOUR

Step 1: Navigate to your Rates and open the rate you want to edit.

Step 2: Locate Show Customers an Hourly Rate.

This option is available on:

  • Simulator Rates

  • Driving Range Rates

Step 3: Enter your normal interval rate.

For example, if your rate is $10 every 30 minutes, enter $10 in the Rate field.

Step 4: Set Show Customers an Hourly Rate to:

Yes – Show customers an hourly rate

Step 5: Enter the hourly amount you want customers to see.

For example:

  • Rate: $10 / 30 Minutes

  • Hourly Rate: 20

Customers will see:

$20 / Hour

Step 6: Click Save.

Customers will now see the hourly price while Birrdi continues charging based on your configured rate and booking interval.

GOOD TO KNOW

  • You enter the Hourly Rate manually. Birrdi does not calculate it for you.

  • The Hourly Rate is display only and does not affect what customers are charged.

  • Your booking intervals remain unchanged.

  • Your Square Items remain unchanged.

  • Enable this setting separately for each rate you want displayed by the hour.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Does Birrdi calculate the hourly rate automatically?

No. You enter the exact hourly amount yourself. Whatever you enter is exactly what customers will see.

Does this change what my customers pay?

No. Customers are still charged using your actual rate and booking interval. The hourly amount is only used for display.

Will my booking intervals change?

No. Your 15-, 30-, or 60-minute intervals remain exactly the same.

Why don't I see the Hourly Rate field?

The Hourly Rate field only appears after setting Show Customers an Hourly Rate to Yes.

Do I need to enable this for every rate?

Yes. This is a per-rate setting, so you'll need to enable it individually on each rate you want to display by the hour.
