Can a Custom Event override an existing reservation?
Yes.
Custom Events will override pre-existing reservations if they overlap in time.
There is currently nothing preventing a Custom Event from being created on top of an existing reservation.
You must be mindful when creating Custom Events to avoid accidental conflicts.
Can a reservation override a Custom Event?
No.
Reservations cannot be created over an existing Custom Event.
If a Custom Event exists for a time slot, that time will be blocked from booking.
Best Practice
Before creating a Custom Event:
Review the day’s reservations.
Confirm no active bookings exist during the time range.
Adjust or cancel reservations first if needed.
