Troubleshooting Member Credits

If a member’s available credits appear incorrect (for example, credit amounts are incorrect, it’s often caused by a canceled membership that still has a grace period active.

Why this matters

When a membership is canceled, Birrdi gives the member a short grace period to continue using their remaining credits. However, if that grace period isn’t removed after cancelation, the member will still appear as having an active membership. This can cause the system to treat them as having multiple active memberships, which can cause inconsistencies.

How to fix it

  1. Go to Memberships in the admin dashboard.

  2. Click the plus icon to see all members.

  3. Go to the canceled members tab.

  4. Check for any canceled memberships that still show a grace period.

  5. Remove the grace period from those canceled memberships.

Best practice

Before re-adding a member to a new plan, always confirm that any prior memberships have no remaining grace period. This ensures the member will only ever have one active plan at a time and prevents issues with overlapping credits.
