Lesson schedules allow you to define when each instructor is generally available to teach. This availability is displayed on Lesson Booking Links to help customers choose an appropriate time.
Step 1: Open Your Simulator
Click the Simulators tab in the top menu, then select the simulator you want to configure.
Step 2: Open the Lessons Tab
Click Lessons in the left sidebar.
Step 3: Add an Instructor
Click Add Lesson to configure their schedule.
Step 4: Configure Weekly Availability
For each day of the week, specify:
Whether the instructor is available.
Their start and end times.
Which bay(s) they teach from.
If the instructor can teach from any simulator, simply select All Bays. Otherwise, choose the specific bay or bays they use for lessons.
You can configure different hours for each day of the week to match the instructor's normal teaching schedule.
How This Affects Lesson Booking Links
When customers visit a Lesson Booking Link, they will see the instructor's configured availability to help them choose a suitable lesson time.
Important: At this time, instructor availability is informational only. Customers can still request lesson times outside the configured schedule. This gives operators the flexibility to approve exceptions or accommodate special requests when needed.
If a customer books a time outside the instructor's normal availability, you can decline or reschedule the lesson as appropriate.
Note: We're aware this can be confusing and are exploring an option to enforce instructor availability in a future update.
