Promo Codes in Birrdi – Field Guide

Updated over a week ago

Promo codes allow you to offer discounts that customers can enter at checkout. Each promo code in Birrdi must be connected to a Square Discount, which is where the actual discount value (percentage or dollar amount) is defined.

Below is what each field means when creating a promo code.

Example: CODE50

This is helpful for promotions like:

  • weekday discounts

  • dollar discounts

  • tax settings

You must create the discount inside Square first before selecting it here.

  • limited promotions

  • giveaways

  • first-come discounts

Limit Per Customer

Options typically include:

  • Unlimited

  • 1 per customer

  • Custom amount
