What this means

Birrdi recommends avoiding keywords like:

  • Peak

  • Off Peak

  • Morning

  • Night

  • Weekend

Customers do not need to understand your internal pricing logic.

Adding time-based keywords increases cognitive load and reduces checkout clarity.

This is considered an anti-pattern.


What you should do

Rename the rate to something clean and simple.

Focus on optimizing for:

  • Ease of checkout

  • Fewer decisions

  • Faster bookings

The simpler the rate name, the better the conversion rate.
