How to Create Packs in Birrdi Admin

Punch passes let you offer prepaid or discounted sessions to your customers. Follow these steps to create one and connect to your rates

Packs let you sell prepaid credits to your customers, allowing them to purchase sessions in advance at a discounted price. Follow the steps below to create a Pack and connect it to your rates or lessons.

Step 1: Create a Credit Plan

Navigate to Plans from the top navigation.

Click Credit Plans from the left-hand menu, then click Add Credit Plan.

Fill out the required fields:

  • Name (e.g., 5 Pack – Lessons)

  • Description (e.g., 5 credits for 5 lessons at a discounted rate)

  • Initial Credit Supply – How many credits customers receive after purchasing

  • Max Daily Credits – The maximum number of credits a customer can use per day

  • Credit Increment – Choose 1 (full credits) or 0.5 (half credits)

  • Expiration Rule – Choose whether credits expire or roll over

Note: The Credit Plan defines how many credits customers receive and how they can use them. This is where you structure the value of your Pack (for example, 5 sessions for the price of 4).

Click Save.

Step 2: Create a Pack

While still under Plans, click Packs in the left-hand menu, then click Add Pack.

Enter the following information:

  • Name

  • Description

  • Currency (typically USD)

  • Public Sign Ups – Set to Yes if customers should be able to purchase it themselves

  • Slashed Price (optional) – Display an original price alongside the discounted price

  • Price – The one-time amount charged for the Pack (for example, $100 for $120 worth of credits). Always connect this to the Square Item you created.

  • Credit Plan / Hour Restrictions – Select the Credit Plan you created in Step 1

Configure any additional restrictions if needed, including:

  • Maximum active reservations

  • Purchase date range

  • Any other optional limits

Click Save.

Step 3: Apply the Pack to Public Rates

If customers cannot use their Pack credits when booking a public rate, you'll need to connect the Pack to the rate and enable credits.

Navigate to Rates from the left sidebar.

For each public rate:

  1. Click the Edit (Pencil) icon.

  2. Scroll to the Packs section.

  3. Select the Pack(s) you want to allow.

  4. Set Allow Credits to Yes.

  5. Save your changes.

Repeat this for each day of the week if your rates vary by day.

Important: Double-check each day's settings to ensure your changes have been saved correctly.

Step 4: Apply the Pack to Lessons

Navigate to Simulators from the top menu.

Select the simulator.

Click Lessons from the left sidebar.

Either:

  • Click Add Lesson, or

  • Edit an existing lesson.

Under Packs, select the Pack you created.

Set Allow Credits to Yes.

Click Save.

Note: The same process can also be used to attach a Pack directly to a Rate.

Important Notes

  • If you're attaching a Pack to a Rate, do not also attach a Membership Plan. A Rate cannot use both at the same time.

  • Always use the Birrdi Pack Sign-Up Link when selling Packs. This ensures purchases are properly tracked and credits are automatically added to the customer's account.

  • For consistency and proper tracking, always use Birrdi Sign-Up Links for both Memberships and Packs.

Step 5: Add Your Pack to Your Website

Once your Pack has been configured, you're ready to sell it on your website.

Follow the same process used for Memberships—simply use your Pack Sign-Up Link instead of the Membership link.

Step 6: How Customers Purchase a Pack

Customers can purchase a Pack in two different ways:

Option 1: From Your Website

Customers click your Birrdi Pack Sign-Up Link, complete the purchase, and their credits are automatically added to their account.

Option 2: During Checkout

If the Pack has been attached to a Rate or Lesson, customers will see a Buy Credits button during the reservation process. They can purchase the Pack immediately and use the credits for their booking.

This provides a seamless purchasing experience while ensuring every Pack is tracked correctly within Birrdi.
