How to Limit Registration Spots for an Event

Want to limit your golf tournament to 24 participants or your group clinic to eight golfers?

Birrdi allows you to set the number of available tickets for each event.

How to set a registration limit

  1. Open Events.

  2. Click New Event.

  3. Enter your event information.

  4. Find Total Tickets / Spots.

  5. Enter the maximum number of spots available.

  6. Save your event.

Birrdi will track registrations against your available spots.

How to see how many spots are sold

For an Individual Event, open the event to view its bookings.

For a Grouped Event:

  1. Open Events.

  2. Find your Grouped Event.

  3. Click Calendar.

You'll see:

  • Spots: Total tickets available for that date.

  • Sold: Number of tickets sold.

  • Capacity: Percentage of tickets sold.

Can I increase the number of spots later?

No. The number of spots cannot be changed once an event has been created.

Make sure to choose the appropriate number when setting up your event.

If you're uncertain about your final limit, you can set a higher number and manually turn the event off when you want to stop registrations.

Does setting a ticket limit reserve simulator bays?

No. Ticket limits control event registrations, not simulator availability.

If you're hosting an event that requires specific simulator bays, you'll still need to block those times using Custom Events on your reservation calendar.
