Whether you're organizing a charity tournament, member competition, or weekend golf event, Birrdi can help you sell tickets and manage participants.
Step 1: Plan your event
Before creating your event, decide:
Which simulator bays you'll need
The date and start/end times
How many golfers can participate
Your ticket prices
Whether members receive special pricing
Step 2: Block your simulator bays
If your tournament requires exclusive use of certain simulators, block off those bays using Custom Events on your reservation calendar.
This prevents other customers from booking those times.
Step 3: Create your ticketed event
Open Events and click New Event.
Enter the tournament name and description.
Select Individual Event.
Choose your date and times.
Set the total available spots.
Configure your pricing and payment options.
Save the event.
Include any important information participants should know, such as the tournament format, arrival instructions, and prizes.
Step 4: Manage registrations
Once customers begin registering, open your event to:
View participants
Check payment status
Add bookings on behalf of customers
Download your participant list
Step 5: Manage tournament day
As golfers arrive, check them in directly from the bookings page.
If you need to communicate a change, select your registered customers and use Send Announcement.
Remember: Birrdi handles tournament registration and ticket sales. Tournament scoring, rankings, and leaderboards are managed separately.
