Selling memberships before opening is now fully automated in Birrdi.
You can sell memberships ahead of time, and Birrdi will automatically handle member creation and billing once your location opens, no manual work required.
When to Use Pre-Sale Memberships
Pre-Sale Memberships are ideal for:
New locations
Expansions
Relaunches
Soft openings or early-access sales
What Happens Automatically
When a membership is purchased before opening:
The member is created immediately in Birrdi
Billing is automatically scheduled for the correct date
No manual follow-up is required
No billing adjustments are needed later
How to Enable Pre-Sales on a Membership
Go to Memberships in the top menu bar
Create a new membership or edit an existing one
Enable Pre-Sales
Set the Opening Day
Save the membership
That’s it. The membership is now available for pre-sale.
What the Customer Experiences
Customers can purchase the membership immediately using the membership signup link
The next billing date will automatically be calculated by Birrdi
No action is required from staff after purchase
