Facebook & Google Conversion Tracking in Birrdi

Track reservations and membership purchases from your ads by installing the Birrdi conversion tag through Google Tag Manager or directly on your website

⚠️ Read This First

To enable conversion tracking in Birrdi, you must complete two steps:

  1. Install the Birrdi Conversion Tag on your website

  2. Connect your Google and/or Facebook account inside Birrdi Admin

That’s it.

You do NOT need:

  • Facebook Pixel code

  • Google Ads conversion scripts

  • Google Tag snippets

  • Custom JavaScript events

  • Any scripts injected into Birrdi

Birrdi handles conversion tracking server-side using:

  • Facebook CAPI (Conversions API)

  • Google Offline Conversions

No scripts are injected into Birrdi pages. Everything is securely handled server-side after a successful reservation or membership purchase.


How It Works

When someone:

  • Books a reservation

  • Purchases a membership

Birrdi automatically sends that conversion event directly to:

  • Your Facebook Ads account (via CAPI)

  • Your Google Ads account (via Offline Conversion uploads)

This allows your ad platforms to:

  • Optimize campaigns

  • Improve targeting

  • Measure ROI accurately


Step 1: Install the Birrdi Conversion Tag

You only need to install one snippet on your website.

You can install it in one of two ways:


Option A: Install with Google Tag Manager (Recommended)

  1. Log into Google Tag Manager

  2. Select your container

  3. Click Add a New Tag

  4. Choose Tag Configuration → Custom HTML

  5. Paste your Birrdi Conversion Tag snippet (found in Birrdi Admin → Marketing)

  6. Under Triggering, choose:

    • Page View → All Pages

  7. Click Save

  8. Click Submit / Publish

Done.


Option B: Install Directly on Your Website

  1. Copy the Birrdi Conversion Tag snippet from:

    • Birrdi Admin → Marketing

  2. Open your website HTML or CMS editor

  3. Paste the snippet just before the closing </head> tag

  4. Save and publish your changes

That’s it.


Step 2: Connect Your Google & Facebook Accounts

After installing the tag:

  1. Log into Birrdi Admin

  2. Go to Marketing

  3. Click Google Ads on the left sidebar, Connect Google

  4. Click Facebook Ads on the left sidebar, Connect Facebook

  5. Authorize access

Birrdi must have account access to send conversion data to your ad accounts.

Without this step, conversions cannot be reported.


What You Do NOT Need

To be very clear:

You do NOT need to:

  • Install Facebook Pixel manually

  • Install Google Ads conversion scripts

  • Add event tracking code

  • Inject code into Birrdi

  • Add custom booking scripts

You may use those tools for other marketing tracking — but they are not required for Birrdi conversion tracking.

Don’t get lost in the mess of marketing scripts online.

Just install the Birrdi conversion tag and connect your ad accounts.

Best Practices

  • Only install one copy of the Birrdi conversion tag

  • Make sure your Google/Facebook accounts stay connected

Conversions begin tracking automatically once:

  • The tag is installed

  • Accounts are connected

  • Ads are running

  • Customers are clicking on your ads
