)Meta Pixel installed and connected to Birrdi
Step 1: Go to Ads Manager
Log in to Facebook Ads Manager.
In the left sidebar, click Ads Manager → then click Campaigns.
Step 2: Start a New Campaign
In Ads Manager, click the green Create button.
When prompted to choose a campaign objective, select Sales.
Click Continue.
This tells Meta you want to optimize your ad for actions that drive revenue — such as bookings through your Birrdi link.
Step 3: Name and Configure Your Campaign
Once inside the campaign builder:
Name your campaign
Give it a clear name (e.g.,July Indoor Golf Bookings
).Buying Type

. This ensures Facebook optimizes delivery for actions like purchases or bookings.Advantage+ Catalog Ads

Leave set to Campaign Budget unless you have multiple ad sets and need more control. You’ll configure the exact budget in a later step.
Once you’ve configured these, scroll down and click Next to proceed to the ad set setup.
Step 4: Set Up Your Ad Set and Conversion Tracking
Ad Set Name
Give your ad set a clear name (e.g.,Local Website Bookings
).Conversion Location
Select Website — this ensures Facebook tracks bookings that happen on your Birrdi booking link.Performance Goal
Choose Maximize number of conversions. This tells Meta to focus on driving as many bookings as possible.Dataset (Pixel)
Under Dataset, select your Meta Pixel (e.g.,BirrdiGolf’s Pixel
).
This Pixel should already be installed and connected to your Birrdi account to track conversion events.Conversion Event
Choose the event you’ve configured in Birrdi — usually Purchase or Booking if it's been set up as a custom event.
Continue scrolling to set up your audience targeting, placements, and budget in the next steps.
Step 5: Finalize Conversion Tracking Settings
Conversion Event
Ensure your conversion event is set to PurchaseCost Per Result Goal
Leave this blank unless you want Meta to optimize for a specific cost per purchase. For most new advertisers, it’s better to leave this unset and let Meta auto-optimize.Attribution Setting
Leave this as Standard attribution. This uses Meta's default time window to determine which ads contributed to a booking.
No other settings need to be changed here. Scroll down to define your audience next.
Step 7: Enter Ad Destination and Tracking Settings
In the Destination section:
Select Website as your destination.
Paste your birrdi booking link into the Website URL field (e.g.,
https://app.birrdi.com/u/reserve?team_booking_link_id=...
).Leave Optimize website destination unchecked unless you want Facebook to optimize the landing page dynamically.
Under Browser add-ons, leave it as None
In the Tracking section:
Ensure Website events is checked.
Confirm that your Pixel is selected with a green indicator.
Leave App events and Offline events unchecked.
Leave URL parameters blank
.
Step 8: Publish Your Ad
Once you’ve finalized your ad creative, settings, and booking link:
Review all sections — Campaign, Ad Set, and Ad — for accuracy.
Make sure your Website URL is correct and points directly to your Birrdi booking page.
Ensure your Pixel is active
When you're ready, click Publish in the bottom-right corner.
Your ad will go into review. Most Facebook ads are approved within an hour, but it can take up to 24 hours. Once approved, your ad will go live and begin driving traffic to your Birrdi booking link.
Step 9: View Performance in Birrdi
After your ad is live and begins receiving clicks, you can track conversion performance directly in Birrdi.
Navigate to the Marketing tab in the top menu bar.
Click Facebook on the left sidebar.
You’ll see insights such as total ad clicks, conversions (bookings), and performance trends based on your connected Meta Pixel.
