Using the Birrdi Conversion Tag for Ad Tracking

Track reservations and membership purchases from your ads by installing the Birrdi conversion tag through Google Tag Manager or directly on your website

⚠️ Important: To enable conversion tracking, you must give Birrdi access to your Google and Facebook accounts in addition to installing the conversion tag. You can do this by logging into Birrdi Admin, going to the Marketing section, and connecting your Google and/or Facebook account.

Overview

The Birrdi conversion tag allows you to accurately track successful reservations and membership purchases when running Google Ads or Facebook Ads. By installing this snippet on your website, you can send conversion events directly to Birrdi, ensuring your ads are optimized and you can measure ROI effectively.

You can install the Birrdi conversion tag in two ways:

  1. Through Google Tag Manager (GTM)

  2. By placing the snippet directly on your website

Option 1: Install with Google Tag Manager (GTM)

  1. Log into GTM and select your container, click Add a new tag.

  2. Click Tag Configuration > Custom HTML.

  3. Paste your Birrdi conversion tag snippet (provided in Birrdi Admin).

  4. Under Triggering, choose Page View > All Pages

  1. Click Save. It should look like this in GTM:

Option 2: Install Directly on Your Website

  1. Copy the conversion tag snippet from Birrdi Admin.

  2. Open your website’s HTML files or CMS editor.

  3. Paste the snippet just before the closing </head> tag.

  4. Save and publish your site changes.

Best Practices

  • Only install one copy of the conversion tag on your site.

  • If you’re running both Google Ads and Facebook Ads, you do not need separate snippets—Birrdi’s tag handles both.
