How to Set Up Staff-Only Rates

Internal pricing for staff that never appears online

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Overview

Some pricing should never be visible to customers.

Staff-Only Rates allow your team to apply internal pricing that:

  • Is only visible to staff

  • Never appears in the online booking flow

  • Does not require a membership

These rates are designed for front-desk and staff-created reservations only.

When to Use Staff-Only Rates

Staff-Only Rates are ideal for:

  • Higher-priced walk-in reservations

  • Higher-prices phone reservations

  • Lessons or instructor-booked sessions

  • Any pricing that should not be publicly advertised

If customers should never be able to see or select the rate themselves, Staff-Only Rates are the correct choice.

Important Clarification: Staff-Only Rates vs Secret Rates

These are two separate features designed for different use cases.

Staff-Only Rates

  • Visible only to staff

  • Never shown to customers

  • Not tied to memberships

Secret Rates

  • Customer-facing

  • Typically unlocked via memberships or eligibility rules
