Understanding Birrdi’s 5-Day Grace Period for Invoice Payments

Birrdi now enforces a 5-day grace period for unpaid invoices, with some important rules based on overdue invoices and card on file status.

Updated over 3 months ago

When Is the Grace Period Applied?

  • If only one invoice is overdue, you’ll receive a 5-day grace period to make the payment. Once the 5-day grace period ends, you will be prompted immediately to pay your latest invoice:

  • If multiple invoices are overdue, the grace period does not apply — payment is required immediately to continue using Birrdi.

What Happens If the Card on File Fails?

All Birrdi operators are required to have a valid card on file. If we attempt to charge your card for the latest invoice and the payment fails:

  1. You will be immediately prompted to update your card on file.

Once the card is updated, the 5-day grace period still applies to pay the outstanding invoice.

Summary

  • One overdue invoice = 5-day grace period

  • Multiple overdue invoices = must pay immediately

  • Failed card = prompt to update your payment method, then grace period continues
