Add-Ons for Simulator Bookings

Add-ons let you offer additional items that customers can pre-pay for at the time of booking. These work great for things like rental clubs, coffee, drinks, snacks, merch, and other extras.

How Add-Ons Work

Add-ons are not charged by time.

This means the price stays the same whether a customer books 30 minutes or 5 hours.

For example:

  • Rental Clubs β€” $10

  • Cold Brew Coffee β€” $4

  • Premium Golf Glove β€” $20

No matter how long the reservation is, the add-on cost does not change.

When to Use Add-Ons

Add-ons are best for:

  • Standard items that have a fixed, one-time price

  • Small upsells the customer can decide before arriving

  • Items you want the customer to pre-pay during checkout

Inventory Considerations

At this time, Birrdi does not track inventory for add-ons.

If you only have a limited number of items (for example, 4 sets of rental clubs) you will need to manually track availability.

We recommend:

  • Having a quick front-desk checklist to mark which items have been used

  • Reviewing bookings in advance to see how many add-ons were selected

  • Removing the add-on temporarily if you run out

Good to Know: Adding inventory tracking to add-ons is something we plan to support in the future.


How to Create an Add-On

  1. Click the simulator tab in the top menu bar

  2. Click into your simulator in the middle of the screen

  3. on the left sidebar under pricing, click Add Ons

  4. Click the pencil icon to edit an existing add on or the button "Add Add on" to create a new add on

  5. Enter the name, rate, and other details

  6. Save your add-on

  7. Your add-on will now appear during checkout
