Signing Up for Memberships & Punch Passes

There are two ways customers can sign up for memberships and punch passes in Birrdi.

Option 1: Direct Sign-Up Link

Every membership and punch pass includes its own dedicated sign-up link.

You can place this link anywhere on your website — such as:

  • “Become a Member”

  • “Buy a Punch Pass”

  • “Join Now”

When a customer clicks the link, they’ll be taken directly to a birrdi checkout page where they can:

  • Pay

  • Immediately activate their membership or punch pass

This is the recommended approach for promoting memberships directly from your website or marketing campaigns.

Option 2: Automatic Sign-Up During Checkout

Birrdi can also automatically offer memberships or punch passes during the booking flow.

This happens automatically when you attach a membership or punch pass to a rate.

Membership Rates

If a customer selects a member-only rate but does not yet have the required membership, they’ll see a Get Access button during checkout.

They can:

  • Purchase the membership

  • Subscribe immediately

  • Unlock the member pricing in real time

The rate will automatically become available once the membership is purchased.

Punch Pass Rates

If a customer selects a public/lesson rate tied to a punch pass and does not yet have the punch pass, they’ll see a Buy Credits button next to the rate.

They can:

  • Purchase the punch pass

  • Receive credits instantly

  • Use those credits immediately during checkout

This creates a seamless experience where customers can purchase credits and complete their reservation without leaving the booking flow.

It’s also a powerful built-in sales funnel.

Instead of forcing customers to search your website for memberships or punch passes, Birrdi automatically surfaces relevant offerings during checkout based on your rate and plan configuration at the booking time. As customers browse availability and select a booking time, they’ll naturally discover memberships and punch passes tied to that booking time.

This helps educate customers on the value of your offerings at the exact moment they’re most engaged and ready to book.
