Overview
Loyalty Multipliers in Birrdi help you fill slower time slots by giving customers extra points when they book during specific hours. These points can be redeemed for cash discounts on future bookings. You control when the multipliers apply — typically during slower times of day, and by how much (2x, 3x, 4x, etc.).
Example
If a booking normally earns 10 points, and you've set a 3x multiplier for weekday afternoons, the customer would earn 30 points when they book during that window.
Here’s a sample setup:

Weekdays 12pm–2pm | 2x | 10 | 20 |
Weekdays 3pm–5pm | 3x | 10 | 30 |
Sunday 7pm–10pm | 4x | 10 | 40 |
How to Set It Up
Go to the Loyalty section in the top Menu Bar.
2. Make sure Square Loyalty is enabled in your Square account. Square Loyalty is a paid subscription, but according to Square’s data, businesses typically see at least a 33% return on their investment.
3. Once Square Loyalty is enabled, follow the prompts to set up your reward tiers. We recommend keeping it simple, for example, make 1 point equal to $1 spent, and set a reward that gives customers 5%, 10%, and 15% cash back when they earn a certain number of points.
4. Click on the Loyalty Multipliers tab on the left sidebar
5. Create your first multiplier by selecting specific days and time ranges, then apply a 2x, 3x, or higher point boost to encourage bookings during those hours.
6. Save your settings.
You can create multiple windows across the week to target different low-traffic periods.
How Customers See Multipliers
Customers will see multipliers displayed next to the applicable time slots. This makes it clear that booking during those times will earn them extra points compared to other slots.
Additional Notes
Multipliers apply only to bookings made during the specified time window.
Customers will see how many points they’ll earn before completing their booking.
This is a great way to fill off-peak hours without discounting your base prices.
